So much so, he was named the 17th \u2018Best Dressed Man in Britain\u2019 of 2015 by GQ \u2013 the UK\u2019s leading men\u2019s style magazine where he\u2019s now contributing editor.<\/p>\n<p>However, Jim\u2019s skills within the realms of fashion, he admits, don\u2019t translate into the world of d\u00e9cor. Thankfully, his wife Tanya Burr \u2013 an equally influential blogger, covering everything from makeup tutorials and beauty tips to d\u00e9cor and baking \u2013 takes the lead when it comes to their West London home\u2019s interior design. \u201cMy house does look lovely, but it\u2019s nothing to do with me &#8211; my wife is completely in charge!\u201d he jokes.<\/p>\n<p>Living with their miniature dashund Martha, Jim and Tanya film many of their YouTube blogs from their London base, entertaining a combined 7.2 million YouTube subscribers. While their blogs cover a variety of topics, both share a real passion for baking. In fact, Jim dedicates a segment on his YouTube channel to #bakingwithJim, and for Tanya, it\u2019s a passion that\u2019s lead her to publish her very own cookbook \u2018Tanya Bakes\u2019. As such, many of the couple\u2019s video diaries centre around the heart of the home \u2013 the kitchen.<\/p>\n<p>Renovated in summer 2016, Jim and Tanya\u2019s elegant kitchen design features Shaker style cabinets painted in Farrow and Ball Railings, white quartz countertops, metro tiling and lots of essential storage space for the couple\u2019s baking utensils.<\/p>\n<p>Describing their kitchen style as \u201chomely, functional and stylish\u201d, it\u2019s not surprising that when Jim decided he wanted an instant boiling water tap, his first choice was the Zip HydroTap. An appliance that\u2019s as stylish as it is functional, the HydroTap not only looks at home in any design-led kitchen, but even dispenses filtered chilled and sparkling water, as well as boiling.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-15722 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/zipwater.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/JIM-CHAPMAN-2-HYDROTAP-ARCS-300x169.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/zipwater.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/JIM-CHAPMAN-2-HYDROTAP-ARCS-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/zipwater.com.cn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/JIM-CHAPMAN-2-HYDROTAP-ARCS.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>With six designs and 12 colours to choose from, Jim went with the Arc in chrome, perfectly complementing the pair\u2019s classic kitchen aesthetic and coordinating beautifully with cabinet\u2019s existing metal accents.<\/p>\n<p>Sitting pride of place over a generously sized double butler sink, the HydroTap has been fantastically useful for both baking and cooking: \u201cIt\u2019s speeded up the whole process! I was melting chocolate for a baking video the other day and it was so handy to have water that was already boiling.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With the kitchen and adjoining dining room being a very social space, Jim says the appliance is also great for hosting parties; whether that\u2019s making sparkling cocktails or after-dinner coffees. \u201cWe love to host parties,\u201d he says. \u201cWe have two annual parties one at Christmas and one in the summer. We hosted our summer party the week after the HydroTap was installed and it went down a treat!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>With convenience key, he goes on to comment on a few of the other benefits of having a HydroTap at home: \u201cThe water previously was lukewarm and we used to have to run it for a long time to get it cold. The HydroTap has made a huge difference in that respect. I use it mostly for the chilled filtered water and I reckon I\u2019ve drunk more water since it was installed.
